Fenton Wins FML Boys Soccer Title

The Flint Metro League boys' soccer season came down to the last day of competition, with Fenton winning the 2009 FML championship after a 2-1 victory over Kearsley. Coupled with Holly's 0-0 tie with Oxford, the Tigers won the Flint Metro title by one point with a 7-1-1 record for 22 points (3 points for a win, one point for a tie). Holly's league record was 6-0-3 for 21 points, while Oxford shares third place with Lapeer East after 5-2-2 campaigns.
