Holly AD Becomes Statewide AD President, Fenton AD Elected Region Rep

Holly athletic director Deb VanKuiken was installed as the 2007-08 president of the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Directors Association at its annual conference on March 19. VanKuiken has been an elected officer in the MIAAA for four years and is a Certified Master Athletic Administrator. She is the first athletic director from a Flint Metro League school to serve as president of the MIAAA.

At the same conference, Fenton AD Mike Bakker was elected regional representative to the MIAAA's Board of Directors. Mr. Bakker will represent athletic directors from the greater Flint and Thumb areas.
