Lady Tigers Win Fourth Straight Swim Title As Six Records Fall

Fenton's girls' swim team once again dominated the pool, winning the Flint Metro League meet and the overall championship. The Tigers scored 613 points in the league meet, hosted by Lapeer at Oxford's natatorium, while runner-up Brandon garnered 358 points. Meet records were set by Fenton's Jamie Benedict in the 200 and 500 freestyle, Ashley Corriveau of Lapeer in the 50 and 100 freestyle, Brittany Urban of Fenton in the 100 butterfly, and Allison Woonton of Oxford in the 100 backstroke.
